Touch screen calibration on a RasPad

2019-01-02 Work in progress

I like the RasPad very much. It only has a few annoyances, one being the ability to navigate Raspbian and installed applications using touch screen. It just doesn't feel like an iPad…

I surfed around and found a recommendation to use a stylus. This helps quite a lot but I also discovered that my touch screen was not properly calibrated. I found a guide to calibrate a small touch screen using tslib.

tslib 1.18

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib

export TSLIB_TSDEVICE=/dev/input/event0

export TSLIB_FBDEVICE=/dev/fb0
